Touchdown Taco Dip

Super Bowl Sunday is all about who is the best team in the NFL and a national stuff-your-face holiday with tasty treats. This simple, warm, low-maintenance touchdown taco dip recipe with fresh ingredients became my family favorite.

Ingredients:

1 (9 ounces) can refried beans
1 (4 ounces) cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sour cream
1 tablespoons taco seasoning mix
1 cloves garlic, pressed
1/4 cup shredded mild cheddar cheese
1 cup tomato, seeded and chopped
2 green onions, chopped
1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh cilantro
1 bag of tortilla chips

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spread the refried beans in a square 9-inch baking dish.

In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, taco seasoning, and garlic. Mix well with an electric mixer.

Spread cream cheese mixture evenly on top of refried beans.

Sprinkle cheddar cheese evenly on top of the cream cheese mixture. Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until cheese is melted.

Dice tomatoes, green onions, and cilantro.

Top the dip with fresh cilantro, tomatoes and green onions.

Serve hot with Tortilla Chips!
